Anglesey's Historic Interior
Guided Bike Tour: Anglesey's Historic Interior
.Join us for a guided day-long bike ride along quiet roads where we will come across Anglesey’s history and prehistory as well as enjoying the wildlife. Llannerch-y-Medd, now a quiet village, was once the hub at the centre of the Island. We meet at the village’s old railway station and cycle towards Llanfechell. Along the way are old churches, standing stones, a dovecote and some tales about fascinating characters from the past.
We cycle some 21 miles, with a café at the beginning and end, and we stop for lunch at a lovely community Cafe in Llanfechell.
